Schlossberg Baach

Baach (The municipality of Zwiefalten), The county of Reutlingen

The Schlossberg is situated next to the southern edge of the Zwiefalter Aach. A castle might have been located on a protruding hilltop that, today, can be reached by walking along a small path at the edge of the forest. There is no proof, but the castle might have belonged to a local noble family called Baach that can be traced back to either 1188 or 1269. In 1426 or 1429, the castle is described as a ruin.
